CIHC 2027 Enters a New Chapter of Globalization | Connecting the World to the Future of Hydrogen from China

Release time : 2026-09-03 Source :Organizing Committee

As the global hydrogen industry moves from demonstration projects toward large-scale commercialization, one question is increasingly on the minds of hydrogen professionals around the world:

Where can you meet more of the right people, in less time?

The answer is: China.

As the world's largest hydrogen producer and hydrogen application market, China has become a major driving force in the global hydrogen industry. And the annual CIHC (China International Hydrogen Congress & Expo) is the first stop for overseas hydrogen companies and organizations looking to enter the Chinese market — as well as the key platform connecting China's hydrogen industry with the rest of the world.

Building on five successful editions, CIHC 2027 is returning with a renewed international vision and upgraded platform. The exhibition is set to bring together 600+ leading exhibitors from China and around the world, showcasing 1,000+ cutting-edge technologies and innovations.

From technology and product showcases to business matchmaking and commercial deployment, CIHC 2027 is designed to connect the entire journey from innovation to market, creating a premier international platform for high-level cooperation and win-win opportunities across the hydrogen value chain.

With internationalization at its core, CIHC 2027 will take a more open and systematic approach to global engagement — creating more efficient channels for business matchmaking, building a strategic platform for multilateral dialogue, and developing an integrated international service ecosystem that connects the global hydrogen community.

Bringing Resources Together: Building a Strategic Hub for the Global Hydrogen Industry

CIHC 2027

With 60,000 m² of exhibition space, CIHC 2027 will bring together key players across the global hydrogen value chain for a major showcase of technologies, solutions, and business opportunities — while creating a platform for in-depth connections and collaboration.

Exhibitors

The International Zone at CIHC 2027 will bring together national and regional pavilions from Canada, Norway, South Korea, Germany, Spain, and other countries. Each pavilion will showcase the latest hydrogen technologies and solutions from its home market.

As of August 2026, international companies including Bosch, Bureau Veritas, Howden Hua, Hutchinson, and GVS have already confirmed their participation, covering the full hydrogen value chain — from hydrogen production, storage and transportation to refueling, applications, testing and certification.

Visitors

CIHC 2027 is expected to attract more than 100,000 professional visitor visits, with targeted international visitor outreach now extending across the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, France, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, Mexico, Poland, Costa Rica, and many other countries and regions.

From North America to the Middle East, and from Europe to the Asia-Pacific, both the scale and quality of international professional buyer delegations are continuing to grow.

As part of CIHC 2027, the CIHC Conference will bring together leading voices from across the industry, with discussions spanning policy insights, industry outlooks, technology frontiers, global trends, and industrial collaboration.

More than 20 specialized sessions will also be held alongside the exhibition, covering key topics including green hydrogen standards, industry-finance innovation, regional investment opportunities, international trade, and diversified hydrogen applications.

The conference is expected to feature keynote contributions from 200+ experts, academics, business leaders, and representatives from investment institutions, with more than 3,000 delegates gathering at CIHC 2027.

International Dialogue

On the international front, the CIHC organizing committee has established close cooperation with embassies in China, hydrogen alliances, and port authorities from Canada, Norway, South Korea, Germany, Spain, Poland, Australia, the Netherlands, and other countries.

During CIHC 2027, these partners will jointly host a series of bilateral forums, creating dedicated platforms for in-depth dialogue around the industrial characteristics, market opportunities, and cooperation needs of different regions. The forums will facilitate policy alignment, technology exchange, and new opportunities for international collaboration.

The exhibition will also serve as a platform for the release of industry research reports and the latest technological achievements, providing global stakeholders with timely insights into the development of the hydrogen sector.

Empowering Chinese Companies to Go Global

The organizing committee of CIHC is continuously opening new channels for Chinese hydrogen companies to expand overseas.

In 2026, CIHC supported a number of Chinese hydrogen companies — including EVE Hydrogen, Continental Hydrogen, and REFIRE — in successfully participating in leading international hydrogen exhibitions, helping build a complete pathway from domestic exhibition floors to international markets.

Amplifying the Global Voice: Building a Worldwide Communications Network

CIHC 2027

On the international communications front, CIHC 2027 is set to further amplify its global reach and strengthen its international communications network, bringing China's hydrogen industry to a wider global audience.

International Media

In 2026, CIHC welcomed 13 international media outlets, including Agence France-Presse (AFP), Agencia EFE of Spain, and Norway's national broadcaster, for in-depth coverage of the exhibition.

In 2027, building on these established partnerships, CIHC will further expand its network of international media partners, helping the voice of China's hydrogen industry reach global audiences through leading international media platforms.

International Social Media

CIHC 2027 is also expanding its international digital presence, with official accounts now active on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
