QINGDAO, September 28th — Main structural construction for the Qingdao Hydrogen Industrial Park Refueling Station project has officially concluded. Located in Boli Town, Qingdao West Coast New Area, construction began on April 1st. Over the five-month buildout, the canopy has reached approximately 95% completion, while pipeline network installation for the hydrogen island unit is underway. The three main structural units are expected to wrap up basic construction by October.

Invested and developed by Huawang (Qingdao) Hydrogen Technology Group Co., Ltd. with a total investment of RMB 120 million, the project employs a phased construction strategy under a unified master plan. Phase I features a planned maximum daily dispensing capacity of 5 tonnes, designed to fulfill the daily refueling demands of 200 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, with a primary focus on supporting port logistics and heavy-duty freight operations. Spanning approximately 5,800 square meters (8.7 mu), Phase I holds a 2-tonne hydrogen storage capacity and is equipped with 9 refueling dispensers.
Phase II plans to construct a hydrogen tube trailer filling station. Upon full completion of both phases, the facility's combined daily filling and refueling capacity will reach 10 tonnes per day, significantly enhancing hydrogen storage, transportation, and supply security across the Qingdao West Coast New Area.
