Guofu Hydrogen Energy Ships 100 Nm³/h Hydrogen Production System to Egypt

Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. (Guofu Hydrogen Energy) has shipped a complete 100 Nm³/h alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production system, including an additional compressor skid, to an Egyptian plant operated by Savola Group, a major food and consumer goods group in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The shipment marks Guofu Hydrogen Energy’s first overseas deployment of hydrogen production equipment for food-grade industrial hydrogenation applications, representing a significant step forward in the company’s expansion across the Middle East and Africa.

Savola Group is one of the region’s major consumer goods and food manufacturing groups. Since signing the procurement contract in February 2026, Savola’s Egyptian team has expressed strong recognition of Guofu Hydrogen Energy’s technical solutions, delivery efficiency and project coordination. The system will supply hydrogen for industrial hydrogenation processes in food production, offering a green hydrogen alternative for these applications.

The shipment demonstrates Guofu Hydrogen Energy’s end-to-end delivery capabilities for international projects. From requirements assessment and solution design to equipment manufacturing and shipment, the project progressed efficiently, highlighting the company’s ability to provide customized hydrogen production solutions for industrial customers worldwide.

As countries across the Middle East and Africa accelerate their energy transitions, Guofu Hydrogen Energy has already begun developing a local manufacturing base in Abu Dhabi and established a localized service team to provide timely after-sales support and help ensure the long-term stable operation of its equipment.

The Egyptian project marks another milestone in Guofu Hydrogen Energy’s efforts to develop the regional market. It also provides practical experience for hydrogen applications in a range of industrial sectors, including food processing, chemicals and metallurgy.
