Aoyuan Company was founded in 2008, is specialized in electrolysis device electrode, film pole distance elastomer research and development and production of comprehensive modern enterprises. In order to adapt to the rapid development of hydrogen energy industry and meet customers' demand for high-performance composite electrode products, the company established Aoyuan New Materials (Shijiazhuang) Co., Ltd. in Shijiazhuang Recycling Chemical Park in 2023, covering an area of 5,000 square meters. It has more than 20 professional R & D personnel, including more than 10 scientific and technological personnel with doctor's and master's degrees, covering many fields such as chemical industry, materials, machinery and electrical automation.

Flexible joint film pole distance special elastomer

The first independent research and development in China: flexible connected film pole distance special elastomer, used in medium and high pressure, atmospheric pressure water hydrogen electrolysis device. In the application of water hydrogen electrolysis device, the protection performance of the film can be improved, and the voltage and energy consumption can be reduced.


The elastomer has the following characteristics:


1. Elastomer flexible connection structure can protect the film, extend the service life and improve the safety and stability.


2. Elastomer structure, can increase the electrode contact area, make the current distribution more uniform, reduce the contact resistance.


3. Elastomer has bubble cutting function due to its unique structural characteristics, which effectively inhibits the formation of large bubbles and further reduces the resistance.


Based on the above characteristics, the flexible connection of elastomer is obviously better than the rigid connection structure.

High performance electrode


Odeyuan New materials R & D uses multiple alloy materials, nickel as the substrate, through plasma spraying combined with thermal decomposition technology to attach the multiple catalytic alloy to the nickel base network to form an alloy layer, effectively improve the adhesion of alloy materials, increase the specific surface area, improve the catalytic performance of the electrode, and prepare electrode products with high electrical density, low voltage, low energy consumption and other characteristics.


Electrode installation test:


1. Control the temperature of the electrolyte into the electrolytic cell 78±1℃, and the temperature of the electrolytic cell 85±1℃;


2. Control the KOH concentration of the electrolyte out of the electrolytic cell 30±2%wt;


3. The electrolytic cell adopts the membrane pole distance structure, and uses the membrane pole distance special elastomer as the elastic element.


Test results: The test time is 5000h, the performance is stable, no degradation, no catalytic layer falling off.

The actual operation reaches: 10000A/㎡ < 1.9V, its excellent electrochemical performance and stability can reduce the number of electrode cells of the electrolytic device, reduce the volume, and reduce the production cost.
