Envision Atmospheric Alkaline Electrolyzer Secures World's First ISO 22734-1:2025 Certificate

SHANGHAI, September 21^st — Bureau Veritas awarded the ISO 22734-1:2025 product certification to Envision's EnGen-LPALK atmospheric alkaline electrolyzer. The system becomes the world's first hydrogen production equipment utilizing atmospheric pressure technology to achieve certification following the official release of the updated ISO 22734-1:2025 standard.

During the evaluation process, Bureau Veritas conducted a comprehensive series of 15 tests on the EnGen-LPALK-1000 atmospheric electrolyzer at Envision's Chifeng Zero-Carbon Industrial Park. The testing program evaluated core parameters, including electrical safety, leakage rates, pressure containment, functional safety, and operational performance.

Test demonstrate that the electrolyzer operates at a system pressure of 0.3 bar. Gas purity analysis showed a maximum oxygen-in-hydrogen concentration of 0.14% and a maximum hydrogen-in-oxygen concentration of 0.29%, both index comply with standard safety limits. Additionally, the equipment adopts an insulated transparent external flow channel design, it enables real‑time observation of pipeline operating conditions and emergency management. This certification provides an independent third‑party quality and safety compliance credential for Envision’s atmospheric alkaline electrolyzers to enter international markets.
