GuofuHee Signs LOI with Hylium for 10,000-Tonne Annual Green Hydrogen Offtake

ZHANGJIAGANG — Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. (“GuofuHee”) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for green hydrogen purchase and sales with Hylium Industries Inc (“Hylium”). Under the agreement, GuofuHee plans to supply 10,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually to Hylium.

The green hydrogen to be supplied will originate from GuofuHee's planned 50,000-tonne annual capacity green hydrogen production project located across Inner Mongolia and Northeast China. According to project plans, a portion of the green hydrogen produced will be converted into liquid hydrogen (LH2) and shipped via maritime routes to the South Korean market.

The green hydrogen procured by Hylium will primarily supply clean power to data centers operated by South Korean tech conglomerates, including Samsung and SK Group, replacing traditional diesel generators as backup power sources for data center infrastructure.

Following the implementation of this agreement, the agreement will secure an international export channel for GuofuHee's planned 50,000-tonne capacity in Inner Mongolia and Northeast China, alleviate the consumption pressure upon project completion. Furthermore, the partnership marks GuofuHee's strategic expansion from hydrogen equipment manufacturing into green hydrogen production and physical trade — establishing an end-to-end cross-border trade link spanning "renewable hydrogen production, liquefaction, and maritime export," while driving international sales of its electrolysis and liquid hydrogen storage and transport equipment.
