FOSHAN, China – September 15, 2026 — Runqing Technology Co., Ltd. has completed production of a batch of 100 AEM electrolyzer stacks at its manufacturing base in Foshan, marking a new milestone in its cooperation with Germany-based Enapter AG.

Zhang Jinhui, Chairman and General Manager of Runshihua Holding Group and Chairman of Runqing Technology, joined Michael Söhner, Enapter’s VP Production & Quality, and his technical team at the roll-off ceremony, together with Runqing employees.
The milestone marks further progress in technical cooperation between the Chinese and German hydrogen companies and the localisation of AEM electrolyzer manufacturing in China.
During the event, guests toured Runqing Technology’s AEM electrolyzer production line. Tan Jianfeng, General Manager of Runqing Technology, said the company, as the hydrogen-energy pioneer within the group, focuses on core water-electrolysis hydrogen production equipment and is pursuing both PEM and AEM technology routes.
Runqing Technology launched its partnership with Enapter on August 18, when its first AEM electrolyzer was completed. Less than a month later, the company has completed production of the first 100-unit batch, marking a rapid transition from production-line construction to volume manufacturing.
The Foshan facility covers the full production process, including electrode fabrication, stack assembly, system integration and factory acceptance testing (FAT). The production line has also demonstrated the company’s capabilities in production ramp-up, process optimisation, quality control and supply-chain coordination.
Runqing Technology said it will continue to prioritise quality and lean manufacturing as it expands its AEM electrolyzer manufacturing operations.
Söhner praised Runqing’s execution capabilities, noting that in less than two months since his first visit to the Foshan facility, the company had built a complete production line and FAT testing area from the ground up and completed its first batch of 100 electrolyzer stacks.
He highlighted four key principles for manufacturing: prioritising quality over output, ensuring process-driven production, pursuing continuous improvement and planning for the future while focusing on current operations.
Söhner also expressed his appreciation to Zhang Jinhui, Runqing’s management team and front-line employees for their contributions to the project.
Zhang thanked Enapter and Runqing employees for their efforts, close cooperation and commitment to quality. She said quality is the foundation of the company’s brand and a key safeguard for its long-term development.
Runshihua Holding Group will continue to increase strategic investment in its hydrogen-energy business and support Runqing Technology in developing a globally competitive intelligent manufacturing platform for hydrogen-energy equipment.
At the ceremony, Tan Jianfeng and Michael Söhner jointly unveiled the 100th AEM electrolyzer stack, while Zhang Jinhui affixed a commemorative nameplate.
Building on the completion of the 100-unit batch, Runqing Technology said it will continue to advance the localisation and large-scale manufacturing of AEM electrolyzers and accelerate the internationalisation of its hydrogen-energy equipment business.
